Kate Middleton’s husband is not the next in line to the British royal throne, but according to experts, there is a telling sign the Duchess of Cambridge will one day be Queen.

Judi James, a body language expert, revealed to Express last September that Kate’s curtsy to the current monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, is relaxed. “Kate's more relaxed curtsey involves eye contact and a broad smile that makes it a greeting ritual as much as an act of obeisance,” she said.

Kate’s interactions with her grandmother-in-law might be because of her “hugely important role in the royal family” and that she is “a future Queen,” according to the outlet.

“This could be down to practice making perfect in terms of her ability to be more relaxed and confident or it could imply a different protocol when a future Queen meets the current,” James said.

After Queen Elizabeth II ends her reign, her eldest son, Prince Charles, is due to take over the throne. Following Charles in the line of succession is his eldest son, Prince William, who wed Kate in 2011.

When William does take to the throne and becomes the King of England, Kate will also get a new title. According to The Sun, Kate would earn the title of Queen Consort.
