After sexual misconduct allegations came out against Kevin Spacey in October 2017, the actor was let go from his Netflix series, “House of Cards.” Now, on top of those accusations, Spacey is being called out for racist comments he supposedly made on the Season 1 set of the series.

Earl Blue, the head of VIP Protective Services, which handled security for the first season of “House of Cards,” told Daily Mail that Spacey was unkind to the black security members, often refusing to acknowledge them. Blue claims the 58-year-old actor used racial slurs on set and was the reason why the team was not hired back for the following season.

“I don’t want [expletive]s watching my trailer,” Blue said he heard Spacey tell his personal security manager when a team of black security personnel were guarding his trailer.

After speaking with set managers about Spacey and his comments, Blue was reportedly told that, “That’s just the way he is; we’ve got to keep him happy.”

Once the season wrapped, despite allegedly receiving positive feedback from the producers for their security management, VIP Protective Services lost its $1.1 million contract and was not hired back for Season 2.

While Blue was originally excited to get the “House of Cards” job because he “was a tremendous fan of” Spacey’s, he’s now simply “disgusted by him” and his alleged behavior.

“I sat on it for four years because I believe in confidentiality but when it comes to the point where people are being harmed, enough is enough,” Blue said. “I realized he was getting worse and worse.”

The security head plans to sue Spacey, claiming that losing the Season 2 contract has caused the company to lose millions of dollars in possible revenue.

“I lost faith that I am in the right job after the contract was terminated,” Blue said. “I questioned myself for months. What could I have done differently?”

Eventually, he realized that he did everything “he was supposed to do” and that there was never going to be a different outcome because he “was just dealing with a racist man.”

Supervisor Eric Lyles, one of Blue’s employees, agreed with Blue’s accusations and added an personal allegation of his own, which was that Spacey refused to either shake his hand or acknowledge him at all.
