Just days after Kim Kardashian tied the knot with her sweetheart, basketball player Kris Humphries, here is another expression of love from the lady. She is going to adopt his last name.

She is currently going through the process of changing her name, reported E! news.

Well, the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star knows well to balance her career and family name with love.

The 30-year-old will not be dropping her famous last name. Instead, she will add Humphries to her name and remain a Kardashian for her public and professional life much like what her younger sister Khloe Kardashian did after she married another NBA star, Lamar Odom, the aceshowbiz.com report stated.

Also, what is new is that the couple has officially signed a pre-nuptial agreement, a report in Hollywood Reporter said. Laura Zwicker, a family wealth planner, explained that the pre-nup acts as a safeguard for both families as Kardashians have business ventures with Kim.

In case of a future separation, she said, it will be difficult for Kris to dispute the agreement. In their situation, it's less likely that a court would find it was unconscionable, she said. They are similarly situated. She might have 10 times as much assets as he has, but he is not poverty stricken, aceshowbiz.com quoted her as saying.

The couple were married in front of 450 of the closest family and friends in a lavish ceremony in Monecito, Calif. It lasted approximately 30 minutes and was officiated by Pastor Joel Johnson, who has known the groom since he was a teenager.

The celebration of the adorable couple's wedding will continue on the east coast on Aug. 31 when the couple plans to celebrate their nuptials again. Niche Media founder Jason Binn and wedding planner to the stars Colin Cowie are also throwing the couple another big bash in New York.
