Despite reportedly being upset with being painted as the "bad guy" in the Rupert Sanders cheating fiasco, Stewart is ready to make her first public appearance since her break up with Robert Pattinson.

Us Weekly, the same tabloid that published the shocking photos of Stewart cheating on Pattinson with married 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders, is now reporting that the actress will make her first public appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival. Stewart, who has kept a very low key profile since the photos surfaced, will be attending the festival in September to promote her upcoming film "On the Road."

Running from Sept. 6 to the 16th, the Toronto International Film Festival will be displaying a special presentation of the film, reports People.com. "On the Road," based on Jack Kerouac's novel, stars Viggo Mortensen, Garrett Hedlund, Amy Adams and Kristen Dunst. According to IMDB, the movie, set to hit theaters in the US this December, is about two members of the Beat Generation, Dean and Sal. "Their search for 'It' results in a fast paced, energetic roller coaster ride with highs and lows through the U.S."

Kristen Stewart's first public appearance comes after her ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, made his own media rounds for "Cosmopolis." The actor took New York City by storm this week, making his first TV interview post Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal, and his first red carpet appearance for the premiere of "Cosmopolis."

Although Stewart has attempted to physically stay out of the spotlight, TMZ recently reported that behind closed doors she is furious that she is taking the fall for her affair with Rupert Sanders. According to TMZ, sources close to Stewart say that she believes that Sanders was in "a position of power over her" since he was directing the movie, and someone she potentially had to work with again in the future. Kristen Stewart reportedly thinks that Sanders should be harboring more of the heat since he was married with two kids, and she was only in a committed relationship with Robert Pattinson.
