Lamar Odom’s memoir titled “Darkness to Light” will be released on May 28. In the book, the former NBA player reportedly shared details about his relationship with his ex, Khloé Kardashian.

A source close to Odom told Us Weekly that the NBA star will discuss his connection with Kardashian in his upcoming book. The athlete will talk about the “highs” and the “really lows” of the relationship, and he will also discuss his “regrets.”

Odom “would still love to be with Khloé,” according to the insider. It’s been a while since the two of them have separated, and according to the insider the two of them never had any issues with each other.

“He’s always had love for her and her family,” the source said about Odom and his ex.

Kardashian broke up with Tristan Thompson earlier this year after rumors about him cheating on her surfaced online. Family friend Jordyn Woods later confessed to kissing Thompson at a party, but she denied being intimate with him.

A source close to Odom previously said that the athlete felt bad about what Kardashian had to go through. The insider added that Odom felt his ex didn’t deserve it, and he also praised her for being a “great mother and partner.” The source said that Odom was planning to reach out to his ex to let her know that “he is always there for her.”

More details about Odom’s relationship with Kardashian will be revealed in the upcoming book. Meanwhile, the insider confirmed that Kardashian hasn’t read the book yet.

Kardashian and Odom have avoided speaking about their relationship ever since their divorce was finalized in 2016, BuzzFeed reported. That changed this past week, as they have both spoken about their past relationship in separate interviews.

After her separation from Thompson, Kardashian has been leaning on her friends and family. In a new clip from an upcoming episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” Khloé talked about taking her niece North on a limo ride, E! News reported.
