Liam, Chris Hemsworth Looking To Co-Star In 'Big Action-Comedy' Movie This Year

Liam and Chris Hemsworth are looking into doing a film project together this year.

The Hemsworth brothers have become two of the hottest stars in Hollywood today, each having gotten successful roles and movies. Chris, 36, and his younger brother Liam, 30, have reaped triumph in their acting careers separately — Chris being on Marvel’s “Avengers” and Liam in “The Hunger Games.” But while both brothers have been known to take different paths, they might just be able to change that soon.

Since his first few roles, Liam has become a household name. He starred in “The Last Song” with ex-wife Miley Cyrus and reached Hollywood peak as Gale in “The Hunger Games” alongside Jennifer Lawrence.

Meanwhile, his older brother Chris curated an good track record himself, bagging the role of the god of thunder Thor in the “Avengers” franchise, starring in action movies and being a producer of his own Netflix original, “Extraction.”

As each brother flourishes, no public reports of sibling rivalry has surfaced. Conversely, the Hemsworth brothers have only expressed genuine support towards each other’s growing careers. In an interview with Men’s Health, Liam expressed that even amid his rising career, he has always drawn inspiration from his older brother Chris.

“I really look up to my brother Chris. I’ve worked with a lot of people that have been in really great positions in the past 11 years, and Chris has a stronger work ethic than most,” He said. “He’s so focused. I’m thankful that I have him and am able to use his resources and his knowledge.”

The “Isn’t It Romantic” actor also revealed that he frequently gives his brother Chris a call when he needs help with his scripts. Chris’ opinion also matters to him the most and thus Liam often asks him for advice. “Should I do this? Should I do that?” the 30-year-old star shared.

With the clear bond between the Hemsworth brothers growing only stronger than ever, Liam also hinted in the interview that he and Chris are both cooking up a film project that will finally star both of them side by side. “We’re looking to do a film this year together, which is like a big action-comedy thing,” Liam dropped.

Although nothing has been decided yet, fans and fellow onlookers might just be treated with a sibling tandem of the Hemsworths onscreen very soon.
