Despite having the entire front portion of her truck engulfed in flames, Trina Carr's bible had miraculously survived the inferno.

Carr told ABC 13 that she was driving her truck “when God told her to pull over” because something was wrong with her vehicle.

She heeded the warning and immediately noticed that her truck began to smoke. Without any hesitation, Carr got out.

The Deer Park Fire Department rushed to the scene after they were dispatched about a car fire noon Sunday, said the Kansas City Star citing the Department's Facebook post.

The fire was quickly extinguished, although the fire officials said the truck's dashboard, engine and passenger compartment were completely melted and “burned up and dissolved to ash.”

A Bible and a notebook were discovered when authorities searched the truck.

The bible's back cover sustained minor damage and a little water on some of its pages. But in its entirety, the book, which according to social media post was sitting on the truck's dashboard, was “untouched by the fire.”

Trina's husband, Mike Carr, also took to social media and thanked the Deer Park Fire Department for their help.

“They arrived quickly and had it out in no time. Thanks be to God my wife was able to pull over and get out on time.

“That is amazing that the Bible in the truck didn't burn at all. God Bless,” he said.
