‘Lucifer’ Season 3 Star Lesley-Ann Brandt Welcomes Baby Boy; When Will She Return To Set?

“Lucifer” Season 3 star Lesley-Ann Brandt recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

On her Instagram account, the actress posted two adorable photos of her little bundle of joy sleeping and revealed that they named him Kingston Payne Brandt-Gilbert. Brandt also thanked her husband, Chris Payne Gilbert, for giving her this precious gift. In another photo, Brandt called her son “My King” in her caption.

Before she gave birth, one fan of Brandt’s character, Maze, in “Lucifer” asked showrunner Ildy Modrovich what will happen to the character since the actress was about to give birth. Modrovich replied to the fan saying that Brandt is currently on maternity leave, but she will return to production very soon. The table read and production for “Lucifer” Season 3 commenced on Monday.

Unfortunately, Brandt may not be present at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con this Saturday due to her leave. But stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Tricia Helfer and D.B. Woodside are all expected to attend the huge fan event. The cast and execs of “Lucifer” Season 3 will also hold a panel after lunch.

Meanwhile, the cast of “Lucifer” Season 3 have been sharing photos from the set of the FOX series. German recently posted a photo with Ellis of them lounging on a bed. The co-stars had dark glasses on while Modrovich stands in front of them to take their picture. German, who plays the role of Detective Chloe Decker, has her detective badge on.

The writers of “Lucifer” Season 3 also posted a photo of Lucifer earlier this week. They revealed that the snap serves as Lucifer’s first teaser photo. Lucifer simply stands and looks outside a glass window. He has a big grin on his face, as though he just came up with a clever plan. The production for “Lucifer” Season 3 is currently taking place in Los Angeles.

“Lucifer” Season 3 will premiere on FOX on Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. EST.
