Madelaine Petsch praised Vanessa Morgan for speaking up about the issues on "Riverdale."

Petsch supports her co-star Morgan after the latter called out the show for the inequality on the set. According to Morgan, she is the only Black series regular and she’s paid the least. Petsch is very proud of Morgan for her boldness to speak up about the issues.

"She’s a bad--- and I’m so proud of her," Petsch told Us Weekly during her campaign for AbbVie.

Petsch plays the character of Cheryl Blossom while Morgan plays Toni Topaz in the series. Their characters have been romantically linked since season 3 and Petsch wants more of Cheryl and Toni in the future episodes.

"I want her and Toni to stay together," she told the outlet.

"I’d like Cheryl to be away from her family. It’d be really nice, I think for her to start fresh. Maybe have a new career path, maybe something that doesn’t involve maple or rum."

Back in May, Morgan also made a statement on social media amid the fight for the Black Lives Matter movement. She aired her frustrations on how the media fails to treat the Black community fairly.

"Tired of how Black people are portrayed in Media, tired of us being portrayed as thugs, dangerous or angry scray people. Tired of us also being used as side kick non dimensional characters to our white leads," she wrote on Twitter.

"Or only used in the ads for diversity but not actually in the show. It starts with the media. I'm not being quite [sic] anymore.”

Just recently, another Black "Riverdale" star stepped forward to express how the show made her feel "invisible" and "unlikable in people's eyes.” Bernadette Beck said her role lacked character development, which made her look bad, and this could affect the opportunities waiting for her after the series.

“I was made out to be a very unlikable character and therefore, an unlikable person in people’s eyes,” Beck said.

"I get it, there’s always a protagonist and antagonist, but I never had much of a story plot or enough character development to even be considered an antagonist. I was, for no reason, depicted in a very negative, unattractive light. And I’m not the first Black actress to show up on set, stand there, chew gum, and look sassy and mean. I feel like I was just there to fulfill a diversity quota. It’s just to fulfill points."
