Nickelodeon finally brought back the iconic show “Blue’s Clues” with added twists. Netizens, however, reacted upon realizing the newly-added innovations.

Many children have missed watching “Blue’s Clues” but the long wait’s over.

“Blue’s Clues” premiered on Nickelodeon on Sept. 8, 1996. It followed Blue, an animated blue-spotted dog, who left a series of paw prints for the host and viewers for them to figure out her plans for the day.

“Blue’s Clues” was, reportedly, Nick Jr.’s longest-running series. However, in 2012 it was reportedly dethroned by “Dora the Explorer.” The show was revived under a new title, “Blue’s Clues & You!” and it premiered on Nov. 11, 2019.

“Blue’s Clues” suddenly went viral on Twitter. Many netizens were left baffled and some reacted to the recent changes in the show, including the new host and some plot twists.

Every “Blue’s Clue’s” fan has been familiar with the mail song. The host sang this song before receiving a letter from the mailbox.

The revival of “Blue’s Clues” included the way letters were delivered. The host no longer received letters in the mailbox rather emails, through his phone.

The latest plot twist in “Blue’s Clues” has gotten some netizens reacting.

Josh, from New Milford, New Jersey, is the new “Blue’s Clues & You!” host. Joshua Dela Cruz is a Filipino-American, according to the report of NBC News.

Dela Cruz used to be a Broadway performer. He was the first Asian American host of the show and was hand-picked from among the 3,000 who auditioned, Forbes reported.

Dela Cruz, who was born in Dubai, revealed that he used to watch “Blue’s Clues” with his sister and never thought he would be on the television. The new “Blue’s Clues” host reportedly said that his experience with the show has been a humbling one.

Dela Cruz was reportedly told by Steve Burns, during one of the first work sessions, that he did not need to copy what he nor Donovan Patton did.

“Blue’s Clues” was originally hosted by Burns. Patton, known as Joe, replaced Burns when the latter left in 2002.
