  • The We TV star seemingly confirmed that her reality show, “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” will be back for another season
  • The network has yet to officially renew her show amid cancellation rumors

Mama June Shannon is sure that her We TV reality show with her family will return to the small screen later this year.

On Saturday, the 41-year-old reality star updated her Instagram with new video content of her talking about her recovery from drug addiction. However, what’s striking about her new post is the caveat she gave at the start of the first clip that seemingly confirmed the renewal of her reality show, “Mama June: From Not to Hot.”

“Sorry there’s not another episode right now, but I promise you we’ll be back guys,” Mama June said in the first video she shared.

The controversial reality star went on to talk about a person she found on TikTok who battled addiction just like her. It appears the person made a huge impact on Mama June’s life as she proudly shared his identity — Jordan McCollum — and his TikTok handle in her post.

“Hey guys what’s up I just wanted to come over tonight real quick and share someone that I found on [TikTok] That has made an impact on my life even though I’m 17 months clean and life is great moneys in the bank families back together and life is amazing this guy just like myself went publicly on his platform on Tiktok and showed his struggles with addiction with mental health,” she captioned her post.

McCollum, who has been documenting his road to recovery on social media, quickly responded to Mama June’s post. He thanked the We TV star in the comments and noted that she has been “a big part in my recovery.”

Many fans left positive messages on Mama June’s post after watching the clips and spotting her interaction with the TikTok star, who has over 1 million followers on the video-sharing platform.

“I am so happy for you mama June and so proud of your recovery story. Continue to inspire others,” one fan wrote.

“I follow him on tiktok so I am glad that you inspire each other. I really appreciate that you shared this,” another commented.

Mama June’s post comes amid speculation that her family’s reality show might not come back for another season. The fifth installment in the series already wrapped up in June, but We TV has yet to announce its renewal.

It also did not help that back in May, Mama June and her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 21, disclosed in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly that they are fine with walking away from reality TV.

The matriarch said that she was starting to feel like the time for them to exit the reality show scene could be coming soon. Her daughter chimed in saying she’s been yearning to live a normal life with her family.

Nevertheless, Mama June quickly retracted her statement on Instagram. In a video addressing her fans, Mama June clarified that they shouldn’t worry because “we will be back” and “we’re not going anywhere.”
