A heated argument turned out to be deadly as one was killed outside a Hell's Kitchen bodega early Thursday.

The victim, which was only identified as a 31-year-old, was involved in a quarrel with another person when he was shot in the upper body in front of a bodega on West 51st and 10th Avenue, said the New York Daily News, citing police reports.

The suspect, which was also unidentified, fled the scene after the shooting, pointed the New York Post.

Despite his fatal wound, the victim managed to hop into a black SUV in an attempt to leave. However, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed at a Potamkin car dealership along West 51st and 11th Avenue.

The SUV had a stolen license platem said the New York Daily News.

The unconscious victim was rushed to Mount Sinai West Hospital by EMTs. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police are investigating the incident and is looking for the suspect.
