The “Mandalorian” TV series cast announcement recently hyped up fans about new show, and now, new details about another exciting character have surfaced online. Given the timeline of the show, a character from the animation series “Star Wars Rebels” may be coming back. The plot is focused on a lone warrior from Mandalore, but he may meet a few others from his planet.

The following article contains spoilers from the upcoming “Star Wars” live action TV series “The Mandalorian.”

Filming of the TV series has been ongoing for some time now. According to Making Star Wars, the production set is quite close to where “Avatar 2” is being filmed. The crew members of the two projects get to interact during their breaks, and some exciting details about the show have surfaced.

The technology being used by the crew of “The Mandalorian” is supposedly the same as the one being used by “Avatar 2.” This cutting edge technology will reportedly help deliver high-end graphics that are only seen in big budget films, but it is cost effective to be used in TV shows. The technology helps with real-time rendering of a CGI character and helps the actor and the director see the rendering in real time, instead of having to wait until the post production phase of development.

Sources revealed that this technology is being used with Sabine Wren’s helmet. Sabine is a major character from the “Star Wars Rebels” animation series, which told the tale of the birth of the Rebellion against the Empire.

Sabine was a young lady in the “Rebels” series, so she may be alive during “The Mandalorian” timeline. While there is no confirmation of her presence in the live action TV series, her helmet will reportedly be there.

The report noted that Sabine could be playing a Mandalorian clan leader. However, it is also possible that another female warrior can be seen wearing a similar helmet. Cast member Gina Carano is tipped to play this character, but there is no confirmation yet.

Pedro Pascal will be playing the lead role in “The Mandalorian.” The actor posted a concept art of his costume, including the design of his helmet, on Instagram. It is safe to assume that he will not be the only warrior from Mandalore in the TV series.

The other cast members of “The Mandalorian” who were announced on the official Star Wars website are Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte.
