Brie Larson took to Instagram Sunday evening to share a training video that flaunts her "new move" with a nostalgic twist.

The 31-year-old actress, who is currently preparing and filming for the movie "The Marvels," used a 90s filter on the clip showing her unique pushups, giving it a VCR-era look.

In the video, Larson could be seen looking at the camera with a huge smile before doing the exercise. What made this particular move more challenging was the use of a resistance band, which bound her lower back to the surface. She had to stretch it each time her body would move up. Her trainer Jason Walsh, the founder of Rise Nation, a fitness studio known for offering high-intensity interval training, could be heard in the background motivating her.

"Even after years of training, I still try to find ways to get out of working out. Luckily @risemovement keeps me motivated by prefacing a new move with 'this will be fun,'" she captioned the video, which has so far been viewed more than 700,000 times.

Walsh reacted to the post, writing, "You chew everything up I throw at you! Love strong women."

Fans took to the comments section to praise the actress. One of the fans wrote, "Go captain marvel."

A supporter commented, "OMG YOU GOOOOO BRIEE" while another noted, "It's only fun once it's over."

Over the weekend, the actress shared another workout video in which she could be seen doing squats at the gym. The actress was clad in the same outfit she wore in the previous video.

"How many pieces of workout equipment does it take to become a superhero? All of them!" She wrote in the caption.

Last month, Larson confirmed that filming for "The Marvels" has already begun. The movie will be a sequel to "Captain Marvel," which was released in 2019.

"I'm in sets that are bigger than you could imagine right now," she said during a SiriusXM guesting on Aug. 11. "It's really special, and it's really just fun and bizarre. It's also just something I never thought I would do in my life."

Besides the Marvel franchise, the actress will also be seen in a television series "Lessons in Chemistry," which is set in the 1960s.
