Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram on March 11 to announce that her "Beautiful Mistakes" music video, featuring Maroon 5, is already out. Directed by Sophie Muller, the music video shows Stallion and Maroon 5's Adam Levine driving around Los Angeles and enjoying scenic views in the city.

She shared a glimpse of the music video in her post. In the caption, she wrote, "BEAUTIFUL MISTAKES VIDEO OUT NOW."

On the same day, Maroon 5 tweeted that the song has already been trending.

The music video showcases some of Los Angeles' notable landmarks, including LAX, the Hollywood Sign and the Griffith Observatory. Its visuals are appealing as it is filled with so many vibrant colors. It even features Levine in a pink convertible vehicle that flies around the city with colorful treats.

At some point in the video, the rapper can be seen falling in the passenger seat of the vehicle then taunting Levine who has been busy reflecting on a past relationship.

Toward the end, they drive through the hole of a giant donut sign that reads, "Randy's Donuts." Small donuts of different colors begin flying with them as well.

In an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Levine talked about working with the 26-year-old rapper. "She is a superstar, but really in the truest sense, man, she's all class, and just we had the best time shooting the video, and it was just a lot of fun, man," Levine said as per Billboard. "I was cracking jokes the whole time, making her laugh."

The new music video came after Maroon 5's 2020 single titled "Nobody's Love."

Fans have showered the music video with love on social media platforms and appreciated the rapper's versatile style.

Apart from the new music video, Stallion has more reasons to celebrate as she has been nominated in the Best New Artist category of the 63rd annual Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, her 2020 song "Savage Remix," featuring Beyoncé, has been nominated in three categories, such as Best Record of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.

The ceremony is set to stream on March 14 on the CBS network.
