The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle will have her own podcast, “Archetypes,” where she pledges to have uncensored conversations about women’s stereotypes.

Markle announced the podcast on Thursday in a Spotify teaser clip. Archetypes is expected to come out around summertime and will be produced by Spotify and Archewell Audio, a production company owned by Markle and her husband Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex. The podcast will be the first collaboration between the two companies.

"This is Archetypes — the podcast where we dissect, explore, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back," Markle said in the clip.

She will interview historians and other experts about the origins of stereotypes that negatively impact women, according to a press release.

“This is how we talk about women: the words that raise our girls, and how the media reflects women back to us. But where do these stereotypes come from? And how do they keep showing up and defining our lives?" Markle added in the clip.

The former actress and star of “Suits” said she will dive deep into the effects of harmful labels through interviews with other women.

"I’ll have conversations with women who know all too well how these typecasts shape our narratives. And I’ll talk to historians to understand how we even got here in the first place,” Markle said.
