Meghan Markle could trade Prince Harry for someone else amid reports that they are looking for a new home in Hope Ranch.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to be looking for a new home in the affluent private community of Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. Royal biographer Tina Brown, the author of "The Palace Papers," weighed in on the reports about Prince Harry and Markle leaving their Montecito mansion.

"In Montecito, where they live, their $14 million mansion is a humble cottage compared to what these other people have," Brown said at the 2022 Henley Literary Festival, The Telegraph reported.

"Yes, and at some point, it might be more than a new house she's looking for," she joked before adding, "Elon Musk is still single; that's all I have to say."

Musk is single following his split from singer Grimes. The SpaceX and Tesla CEO is a father of 10 children, including twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, who arrived just weeks before he and the "Oblivion" singer welcomed their second child last year.

Prince Harry and Markle's current home has nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. It also features a children's cottage, a tennis court and a swimming pool, and it boasts rose gardens and century-old olive trees.

British journalist and investigative reporter Tom Bower echoed Brown's sentiment but not in a joking way. The "Revenge" author spoke with Page Six recently and tackled the reports about the former "Suits" star allegedly getting tired of her husband.

"There are many now in London who say that [Markle] is tiring of [Harry]," Bower told the outlet. "They speculate that in two years she will say, 'This is enough' and should negotiate some sort of deal with [King] Charles to break the marriage. And that, really, I don't know."

He added that "at the moment," based on his observation, the two are "bound" to their marriage and business plan.

"They're bound by the common business plan of wrecking the royals as much as they can, promoting Brand Sussex. But it is a dying cause. I mean, there's only so much you can say ... diminishing returns. And she'll need a new career," he noted.

Meanwhile, GB News host Nana Akua hit out at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Sunday. According to her, the royal couple "appears to be losing their global appeal." She also speculated that the "Sussexes are beginning to realize that being a royal is a pretty good gig."

There are rumors that Prince Harry and Markle are trying to reconcile with the royal family and want to stall their Netflix docuseries and his memoir to tone down the content following the Queen's death.

Prince Harry and Markle's reps have not publicly commented on various reports about his memoir and their Netflix docuseries.
