The Carters — Beyoncé and Jay-Z — won the award for Best International group at the 2019 BRITs on Wednesday, but, since they weren’t able to be there in person, they sent in a pre-taped acceptance video. In it, Meghan Markle made quite the appearance.

Filmed as a recreation of one of their recent music videos, instead of the Mona Lisa painting, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are seen standing in front of a portrait of Markle by illustrator Tim O’Brien.

The video starts out completely zoomed in on the regal Duchess of Sussex painting, which features her with a crown atop her head. It’s like the Best International Group winners are creating the fictional award of Best International Royal and giving it to Prince Harry’s wife.

The camera then zooms out to show Queen Bey and her husband.

“Thank you so much to the BRIT Awards for this incredible honor,” she says. “You guys have always been so supportive. Everything is love. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Jay-Z says before they both laugh and turn to face Markle’s portrait.

To finish off the acceptance video, a “Whyyyy” is heard off-camera, likely from their daughter, Blue Ivy.

Not only were the Carters not actually at the award show, which is why they sent in the pre-taped video, but Markle was nowhere near the event either. The pregnant royal’s been in New York City the last few days, having a baby shower and catching up with friends. Perhaps one of them will notice the video and show it to her, almost like the Carters are giving her a baby shower gift.
