Meghan Markle and Prince Harry endure Donald Trump’s revenge after they moved to the United States.

Just recently, the POTUS broke his silence about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s security concerns while they are in the U.S. Sources confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle area already in Los Angeles and many are wondering who will foot the bill for their protection. Trump took to Twitter and said that the royal couple “must pay” for it.

Tom Leonard of Daily Mail said that Trump is taking revenge on the couple for the insults he received from them. Both Prince Harry and Markle have said something against the U.S. president in the past.

In 2016, Markle called Trump “divisive” and “misogynistic.” She added that Trump “made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world he is painting for us.” Markle, who was living in Toronto at the time while filming “Suits,” also said that Trump would be a “terrible” POTUS and “I might just stay in Canada and not come back to the U.S.”

Leonard noted that Trump’s decision wasn’t a big surprise. Markle snubbed him during his state banquet in the U.K. Prince Harry showed up at the event looking grumpy. Royal expert Ingrid Seward noticed it, too.

“Harry did look grumpy and as if he didn’t want to be there,” Seward said. “Whatever his personal feelings, it’s his duty to support the Queen regardless and take a tip from his grandmother who has never allowed her personal feelings to interfere with her duty. It’s bad manners and rude.”

Leonard added that now that they are under Trump’s administration, the couple is at his mercy and denying the royal couple of diplomatic protection could only be the start of the POTUS’ revenge. He might even make it harder for Prince Harry if the royal applies for citizenship.

“Mr Trump now has their future in his hands. Not paying for the couple’s protection could only be the start of his payback,” Leonard wrote. “The president may yet give the Sussexes plenty more to complain about.”
