Meghan Markle is expected to serve American food on her wedding day.

The "Suits" star and Prince Harry will stick to some traditions on their wedding day. But the couple is also expected to implement their own rules, after all, it's their big day.

Markle and Prince Harry are expected to host a wedding reception immediately after the ceremony at St. George's Hall at Windsor Castle. It will be a day of celebration as they will celebrate their union until the evening.

For their late-night feast, Hayley Bloomingdale, communications manager for luxury fashion label Moda Operandi, believes that Markle will serve "lowbrow" and greasy food. At that time, only the couple's friends and family are present.

"She needs to get this right. People don't want posh food on silver platters at 1 a.m. They want grilled cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, a taco truck, a doughnut wall, something lowbrow," Bloomingdale said. "That's very American."

Another insider told Us Weekly that the menu for dinner will reflect both Markle and Prince Harry's taste. "It won't be as British as Kate and William had," the insider explained.

Prince Harry and Markle want their guests to enjoy their party. In fact, they want it to be fun and unforgettable.

"The pair want to make the night as fun as possible," another source said. "With live [music], expect the party to go on until the early hours."

There are rumors that among the artists who will be performing are Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen and Rod Stewart. Pharrell Williams, Duran Duran, Elton John and Ed Sheeran are also expected to take the stage.

A source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the "Perfect" singer has received an invitation to perform at Prince Harry and Markle's wedding. However, Sheeran has not confirmed it yet.

"Ed Sheeran has yet to confirm but I'm not sure you turn down Prince Harry and Meghan Markle," royal correspondent Victoria Arbiter told ET . "People love his romantic love songs so he's an ideal candidate for that first dance and I think Harry has always enjoyed Ed Sheeran."

Markle was reportedly keen to include American tradition in her wedding. In fact, she opted for a maid of honor instead of a chief bridesmaid.

"And while it is very much a British wedding, expect a few American touches too. She's not picked a chief bridesmaid, she's chosen a maid of honor," one insider said.
