Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s neighbors in Canada have reportedly agreed to protect the royal couple’s privacy.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are staying in North Saanich on Vancouver Island. The royal couple’s new home is located in a secluded community, and it is not famous among tourists.

A source told the publication that Prince Harry and Markle’s neighbors are sympathetic towards the royal couple. This is why they agreed to protect their privacy at all costs.

Some small business owners have gone as far as placing notices on their stores informing members of the press that they are not welcome there. The source revealed that some media personnel have tried asking for information about Prince Harry and Markle, but they refused to share anything with them.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle have also been figuring out ways to ensure that their privacy won’t be breached while they are in Canada. According to TMZ, the royal couple had a new security camera installed on the beachfront outside their home.

A tarpaulin has also been placed in between two trees and another one on the entrance gate reminding visitors that trespassing is not allowed.

In related news, a source told People that Prince Harry and Markle are very happy in their new home. In fact, the royal couple feels that a weight has been lifted off their shoulders ever since they announced their decision to quit.

The source said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are enjoying living a very quiet life, and they enjoy chilling out with their son Archie, and their dogs at home.

“This decision [to leave] had been weighing on them for a long time, and they are relieved to have it done. A weight has been lifted off their shoulders,” the source said.

As of late, it is unclear when Prince Harry and Markle will be seen in public next.
