Meghan Markle was spotted sporting a new ring on her finger and experts think it's much more than just a fashion statement.

The worldwide style icon recently started wearing "a small gold signet ring from a London based jewelers," which Claire Adler, a luxury public relations consultant and jewelry specialist, revealed has royal ties.

"Meghan is wearing the Durga ring by Pippa Small who has a shop in Notting Hill's fashionable Westbourne Grove and who was awarded an MBE by the Queen in 2013 for her ethical jewelry and charity work," Adler told Express.

By wearing the ring, the Duchess could be making a nod to the royal family, seeing that the designer appears to hold the same ethics and values that are important to the royals.

This wouldn't be the first time Meghan's jewelry has made a statement. The other ring she dawns on her left ring finger also gave insight to her role within the royal family following her engagement.

The 38-year-old's engagement ring, which was designed by Prince Harry, foreshadowed a future full of philanthropy, charity, and, as previously reported, projects centered on "women's empowerment, girls' education, inclusivity and encouragement of social entrepreneurship."
