  • Melania Trump wants to make the White House a normal home for Barron
  • The FLOTUS, reportedly, takes her daily tasks seriously
  • Melania Trump and President Donald Trump, allegedly, planned to have a family dog

Melania Trump is, undeniably, one of the most talked-about women today. Aside from her fashion choices and advocacies, several followers are very interested in her life from being a former model to being the First Lady of the United States. In Dec. 2019, CNN reporter Kate Bennett gave some interesting details about the daily life of President Donald Trump’s wife through an unauthorized biography.

Kate, who has been covering Melania in the last three years, published the “Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography” book, which gave a glimpse into the FLOTUS’s life insider the White House. When asked about what Barron’s mom is really like, the journalist said that Melania takes house chores and other tasks like a job.

“It is, essentially, a wealthy woman’s life, and that is basically what she was: a wealthy, stay-at-home mom with three homes,” Kate Bennett said in an interview with The Cut. “And thinking about, ‘Oh God, it’s already August, we have to start thinking about the Thanksgiving table arrangements.’ For her that’s a very real workday,” she went on.

Aside from that, Kate revealed that Melania Trump is a hands-on mom to her only son. The reporter said the FLOTUS strategically scheduled her trips back and forth between New York City and Washington, D.C. every weekend so she can help Barron adapt to the highly secured life in the White House. Kate Bennett shared Melania, previously, revealed that most of his daily concerns involved "homework, play dates, and soccer practice."

The book also cited a source saying that Melania, Barron and President Donald Trump considered having a family dog for the White House. Though the POTUS is not fond of pets, he could have allowed it had his wife pursue the idea for their son. The tipster went on to say that the FLOTUS examined breeds and studied how to care for a presidential pooch already. However, things did not go as planned.

While Kate Bennett’s claims on her book could be true, the White House was quick to dismiss the “Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography” book. Stephanie Grisham, in an official statement released to People, most parts of the book are not true, before adding that her sources are phony and unreliable.

“Our office worked with Kate in good faith in her book and thought she would do an honest job. Sadly, it includes many false details and opinions, showing Ms. Bennett spoke to many anonymous people who don’t know the First Lady,” Stephanie Grisham said. “It continues to be disappointing when people, especially journalists, write books with false information just to profit off the First Family,” Melania Trump’s spokeswoman continued.
