  • The photographer claimed Melania Trump's stiffness is the main reason why she wasn't a successful model

Melania Trump is, undeniably, one of the most followed political personalities today. Though she has been working very hard in support of numerous causes that focus on the general well-being of the children and youth, the First Lady of the United States continues to get hate and criticisms from her detractors. Others describe Melania as an “enigmatic” First Lady as she rarely smiles and shares details of her personal life.

In 2018, a former pal of the FLOTUS shared how it was like to be living with her under the same roof. Victoria Silvstedt, a Swedish model, revealed that she once shared a room with Melania in Paris, France when they were still trying to make a name in the modeling industry.

“I think I couldn’t ask for a better roommate, actually. The perfect roommate! Clean, neat, domestic. I think I couldn’t ask for a better roommate, actually,” Victoria said of Melania Trump during an interview with Inside Edition. “We had, like, staircases, no elevators. So, we had to run up ad down the stairs quite a lot. That was a challenge, but you know, as a model, you gotta keep active,” she continued.

Victoria, also, described Melania as someone who was "very calm and put together "regardless of the situation she was in. The model divulged that she and President Donald Trump’s wife used to make their own meals at home such as tuna salads. Victoria said Melania idolized Italian actress Sophie Loren as well.

Meanwhile, in May 2017, another former roommate of the FLOTUS revealed details about her past life. Photographer Matthew Atanian told Vanity Fair that Melania was pretty disciplined during her younger years as an aspiring model.

“She would strictly eat five to seven vegetables and fruits every day. She drank a lot of water . . . . She was looking to make money [as a model],” Matthew revealed to the entertainment news publication. “She was always kind of a stiff person. That’s why she wasn’t a successful model, because she couldn’t move,” he went on.

Melania Trump has yet to comment on Victoria Silvstedt and Matthew Atanian’s statements.
