President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump went for matching tuxedos for their final official Christmas portrait.

Trump and Melania wore black tuxedos when they posed for their 2020 Christmas portrait, which was released Friday. The photo was taken on Dec. 10 by the official Trump White House photographer Andrea Hanks.

In the photo, the first couple is all smiles as they posed on the grand staircase of the White House in Washington, D.C.

"Merry Christmas from President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. @realDonaldTrump & @FLOTU are seen December 10, in their official 2020 Christmas portrait, on the Grand staircase of the White House in Washington, D.C. (Official White House Photo by Andrea Hanks)," the first lady's Twitter account wrote.

The first lady wore dresses for previous Christmas portraits, making her tailored tux and matching black stilettos quite eye-catching.

Melania and the POTUS received praise from a number of Twitter users for the portrait.

"Best FLOTUS ever. So graceful and an inspiration to us all! Thank you for standing by your husband through everything the evil in this country has put your family through! We stand with you! Merry Christmas!" one commented.

"Decorations are beautiful! Boy people sure are not in the Christmas mode. God bless America and our wonderful president and First Lady," another posted.

"Wearing a tuxedo, @FLOTUS still looks beautiful and graceful. I feel like she would even look good in a potato sack lol," a third user wrote.

"Stunning. What a gorgeous pair and wow. In the lighter side. I want that ladies tux. Let’s have a cheer for our First Lady Melania the beauty and class and quiet and reserved. All the things and qualities of a lady,” another added.

In related news, Melania was recently slammed after removing her mask during her Tuesday visit to the Children's National Hospital to read a holiday book to kids. Though she practiced social distancing, the hospital's policy requires all visitors to wear a mask.

The White House defended the first lady, explaining that she was 12 feet away from people and that the District of Columbia health guidance does not require wearing a mask when a person is giving a speech for broadcast or an audience.

A number of Twitter slammed the White House's defense of Melania, with some mocking the FLOTUS for allegedly prioritizing comfort over survival.
