The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Annual Costume Institute Gala may be an exclusive by-invitation-only event for Hollywood’s A-listers, but even members of the general public can get in on the fun and see some of the incredible fashion on the red carpet thanks to televised coverage and an online live stream.

This year, for the first time ever, viewers will be able to experience the event with a 360-degree broadcast. According to Adweek, the Gala is working with Facebook Creative Shop to set up the broadcast, which will include Moët-branded bubbles as ads in between the footage. Viewers will be able to watch attendees arrive via Vogue’s Facebook page from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In addition, Vogue will also post content for viewers on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat during the event.

“We are focusing on social-first content in addition to using our platforms as distribution channels for our robust coverage” Vogue’s digital director Anna-Lisa Yabsley told Adweek. “Vogue is committed to its social followers, regardless of their platform of choice.”

In addition to those platforms, fans should also be able to access a live stream and other footage through both the Met’s Twitter page and Periscope accounts, which both began offering looks at the event back in 2015.

For those who prefer to keep up with the Gala on television, there will also be some luck, as E! will once again be covering the festivities throughout the day, on a multitude of platforms. Digitally, fans can get breaking news and conversation about the trends, attendees and after party at E! NEWS digital, and on the mobile app, as well as on their social media platforms. A livestream will also be provided via Facebook Live on the E! News page, which will run at the same time as the on-air broadcast.

The network will also offer comprehensive television coverage, starting at 7 p.m. EDT with “E! News” hosts Jason Kennedy and Maria Menounos as they discuss the biggest news ahead of the Gala festivities, and react to the moments as they happen. They will also feature behind-the-scenes sneak peeks and interviews.

The action continues at 7:30 p.m. EDT with “Live From The Red Carpet: The 2017 Met Gala,” which will feature Giuliana Rancic, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Jason Bolden and Kristin Cavallari broadcasting from 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, as they break down all of the looks on the Red Carpet. They will be joined live on the carpet itself by Brad Goreski and Sibley Scoles.

The coverage will also resume the following night, Tuesday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. EDT with “Fashion Police,” where co-hosts Melissa Rivers, Rancic, Goreski, NeNe Leakes and Margaret Cho will discuss all of the looks from the Red Carpet, and reveal all of the details from inside the event and the after-party.

Every year, the Gala also features a specific theme, which guests try to model their outfits after. Following successful themes in 2015 of “China: Through The Looking Glass” and 2016 of “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” 2017's theme will be “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons,” which will focus solely on Kawakubo and the influence of her designs. This year’s event will be co-hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams.
