Mike Fisher opened up about his wife Carrie Underwood's multiple miscarriages.

Fisher and Underwood have two beautiful children Jacob Bryan, 16 months, and Isaiah Michael, 5. However, their path to parenthood was not easy since the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” singer endured several miscarriages.

In their new series “Mike and Carrie: God & Country,” the couple opened up about their life as parents and how they faced multiple miscarriages before conceiving their youngest son, Jacob.

“She's like, 'I lost the baby.' And I was like, 'Again?'” Fisher, 39, recalled (via People).

“You have all these mountaintops, but we hadn't had a ton of valleys like this.”

Meanwhile, Underwood shared a very private and emotional encounter with God. According to her, she had an “honest conversation with God” in which she poured out her pain.

“I was hurt. I told him how I felt,” the “Good Girl” singer shared.

Meanwhile, the former ice hockey player admitted in the trailer that he had always wanted to have lots of kids. However, Underwood wasn’t sure about motherhood. The country singer admitted that she was not that good with kids.

“I was never good with other people's kids. Why would I be good with one of my own,” Underwood shared while laughing.

However, Underwood’s doubts and thoughts about motherhood changed when she welcomed her firstborn, Isaiah, in 2015. Fisher was emotional while Underwood felt that she fell in love at the sight of her son.

Underwood suffered three miscarriages before she welcomed her second baby. She first opened up about it on “CBS Sunday Morning” in 2018.

“I’d kind of planned that 2017 was, you know, going to be the year that I work on new music, and I have a baby,” Underwood said. “We got pregnant early 2017, and didn’t work out.”

At first, Underwood comforted herself that maybe it wasn’t God’s timing. She didn’t want to get mad because she felt so blessed with her son, Isaiah. However, when she suffered two more miscarriages, she got furious.

Underwood admitted that she didn’t understand why she kept on getting pregnant but couldn’t have a child. She then decided to express all her pain in a conversation with God.

When she visited her doctor, she was preparing herself for a fourth miscarriage news, but the doctor told her that everything was doing great.

“He heard me,” Underwood said.
