Mimi Faust’s shower rod hasn't just started a trend on Twitter but also in home improvement. TMZ reported shower rods have been selling out in stores across the nation.

But it’s not just any shower rod that people are clamoring for. Those who saw “Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta” know that the “LHHATL” star has an industrial shower rod installed in her house. The starlet hung onto the rod while she and her boyfriend were doing something other than getting clean in the bathroom scene, and many joked that if they were to do the very same thing, they would have fallen on their backs.

People have headed to Home Depot, Lowe's, Target and Walmart to try to and re-create Faust’s sex acrobatics, and stores have apparently struggled to keep up with the demand. Employees at retailers from Georgia to California said they were sold out of the “Mimi strength” shower rods.

Faust has made the shower rod so popular that not only does it have its own hash tag but even its own Twitter handle: @MimiShowerRod.

Faust has acknowledged the account, but did so with a chuckle. “You hangin in there?” she wrote.

The account has nearly 400 followers and asks followers to “just call me rod.” The account description reads: “I keep sh*t up.”

For those who think the #MimiShowerRod hashtag and @MimiShowerRod Twitter account are funny, the Vine videos based off the “leaked” sex tape are even more hysterical.

Though employees revealed to TMZ that “Mimi strength” shower rods were essentially selling like hotcakes, officials from Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart and Target haven’t responded to calls yet.
