A 15-year-old Indiana boy missing since Monday night was allegedly lured by a man posing as a woman, the teenager's mother has claimed.

Authorities said that a reward has been announced for anyone with information about Davion Blakes. As the search for Blakes continues, his mother Caressa Dillard said an unidentified 23-year-old man came near his window and snuck him out.

“I’m just asking for my son to be returned to me,” Dillard said, according to WGN TV. “He’s a funny kid, is a funny, charismatic, good kid, does regular teenage stuff.”

A team of friends and family, including Dillard's brother-in-law, Danny, is actively searching for Blakes. The last known location for his phone was around 10th Street and DeKalb — where they spent time Wednesday afternoon speaking to locals and knocking at every door for any information.

Authorities said Blakes is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Blakes' mother told the police she last saw her son on Aug. 30 before they all went to bed.

"I woke up to wake my son up for school, he wasn’t there,” she said, according to NBC Chicago. “I immediately called 9-1-1. I called friends and family. I called his friends, his friends' parents.”

The police described Blakes as 5-foot-6-inch, weighing around 100 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt with a black Champion backpack.

A reward of $2,500 has been announced by businessman and community activist Early Walker, along with Dillard, for any information in the disappearance of Blakes.

“We are asking for anyone who possibly knows this to please come forward,” Walker reportedly said. “This mom is terrified.”

Authorities urged the public to call the Gary Police Department at 219-660-0031 or 911, if they have any information about the whereabouts of Blakes.
