Steelo Brim, co-host of MTV’s “Ridiculousness” with Rob Dyrdek and Chanel West Coast, was recently the victim of a burglary, TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, the MTV star was out for a night partying in Los Angeles. When he returned home at around 8:30 a.m., he noticed a safe and “valuable collectibles and figures” were missing from his home.

He allegedly told cops that the items stolen are worth around $100,000. Brim had security footage from the night and handed it over to the Los Angeles Police Department. The footage reportedly shows that there was at least one burglar.

Sources told TMZ that the burglar was able to get into Brim’s house through a side door, but it is not known if the door was left unlocked or was pried open.

Brim talked about his rise to fame and how he met Dyrdek in an interview with Gorilla Flicks in 2016. Before fame, he was working at a record label that Dyrdek used to stop by at and listen to the music Brim was working on. He said that he and Dydrek just “hit it off organically” and Dydrek also thought he was really funny.

Brim thought that Dyrdrek was kidding one day when he asked him if he wanted to be on a television show. A couple of months later Dyrdrek got Brim’s number, called him and said: “Hey, this is Rob Dyrdek. That show I mentioned… we film it tomorrow, can you be there?” The show that Dyrdrek was talking about happened to be the popular comedy clip show “Ridiculousness” that first aired in 2011 and is currently on Season 15.

Brim said that he feels “blessed” to have become a television co-host.

“It’s really cool being a co-host,” he said. “To be able to work and be yourself with people you enjoy being around has to be the easiest job in America. I am blessed to have it.”   Steelo Brim Steelo Brim is a co-host on MTV's "Ridiculousness." Photo: MTV
