When viewers tuned into “My 600-LB Life: Where Are They Now?” on Wednesday night, they were reunited with Steven Assanti. The subject weighed over 700 pounds when he made his debut on the TLC series in 2017.

Since his episode aired, a lot has changed in Steven’s life as well as his brother, Justin Assanti’s life. According to a few online updates, it appears the two have made progress in more than just their weight loss journeys.

Fans may recall watching the Assanti brothers’ story, which detailed Steven’s addiction to pain medication and his tantrums. His frequent outbursts ruined his relationship with Justin and got him into trouble with Dr. Nowzaradan.

By the end of the two-part episode, Steven received the gastric bypass surgery but was sent to rehab. Meanwhile, Justin agreed to work on losing enough weight, so Dr. Now would approve him for weight loss surgery.

Nowadays, Steven has seemingly turned over a new leaf. According to Facebook, it appears the “My 600-LB Life” subject is attempting to continue his weight loss journey and has found love. Steven’s wife, Stephanie Assanti revealed the two married last year.

Stephanie’s account features several pictured of herself and Steven. The photos also reveal that Steven has managed to keep some weight off, but it is unclear how much he may weigh at the moment.

After Justin received his gastric bypass surgery, he returned home to Rhode Island. According to his Reddit account, Justin’s relationship with Steven remains strained. However, like his brother, Justin has also found love.

Justin’s Facebook account reveals he is currently in a relationship. On Reddit, he told fans that he has lost over 200 pounds since filming, but plans on keeping whatever progress he makes to himself.

“My 600-LB Life” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
