National Bagel Day 2021 Deals: Get Free Bagels From These Stores

National Bagel Day is here! Every Jan. 15, bread lovers from all around the world commemorate this special day by enjoying a piece of the freshly baked good either at home or a store taking part in the celebration as well.

The bagel is a type of bread that can be served with other breakfast staples such as eggs, bacon and cheese. On top of that, savory spreads and tasty toppings, including cream cheese and smoked salmon, are almost always enjoyed with the baked good.

National Bagel Day used to be celebrated on Feb. 9. This, however, happens to be National Pizza Day, so Thomas' Breads started an initiative to move the holiday to Jan. 15 instead, according to Today.com.

In honor of National Bagel Day, here are some stores offering deals and freebies on the baked good this Friday.

1. Bagel Boss

Bagel Boss is giving customers a chance to win a dozen bagels every month for a year. Participants do not need to purchase anything and can enter the competition through the Bagel Boss website. Six winners will be announced on Saturday.

2. Bantam Bagels

From Jan. 14 to 17, Bantam's mini-sized bagels will be available at 20% off for the entire purchase. Customers can use the code BAGEL20 at checkout to get the discount. Talk about a good deal!

3. Einstein Bros. Bagels

The bagel chain has announced that customers who order ahead through its mobile app will get one free egg sandwich of their choice starting on National Bagel Day until the end of January, though they will need to purchase something to be able to receive the freebie.

The popular egg sandwiches come in 11 different flavor combinations, with their bestsellers including The Farmhouse, Chorizo Sunrise and the All-Nighter.

4. Philadelphia Cream Cheese

Bagels aren't complete without cream cheese. And this National Bagel Day, Philadelphia is giving away 10,000 free tubs of cream cheese. This Ibotta link, which will be live Friday, is where one can join to win.

5. Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons is famous for its great offers and promos, and National Bagel Day is no exception. Joining the festivities, Tim Hortons is offering a $1 bagel this Friday. To avail of the deal, customers would have to place their orders through the Tim Hortons app or online.
