Did you know that there's a day devoted to celebrating the mojito? It's called National Mojito Day and it is observed on July 11 every year.

The mojito has been widely associated with Cuba, where it is believed to have come from. The famous drink has been around since the 1500s, which means people have loved it for more than 500 years.

The term "mojito" came from "mojo," a type of magical charm or amulet from Africa. Many believe the drink's name was first introduced by the enslaved people who worked in Cuba's sugar cane farms.

For many mojito lovers, the drink indeed works like magic. Just a sip of it is more than enough to freshen up anyone, especially on a hot summer day.
