KEY POINTS

  • "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 12 is yet to be announced
  • The fans will get to see more of Hetty when the show returns
  • The Afghanistan storyline will continue

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 12 is yet to be announced, but given the popularity of the show that seems like just a formality at this point. There may be some major characters who will be exiting when the story continues, but what the fans can be assured about is that they will get to see a lot more of Hetty (Linda Hunt).

What can be expected on the show next? There have been big hints about Nell (Renée Felice Smith) leaving the TV series and the exit may finally happen. In a recent interview with TV Guide, executive producer Frank Military said that the character’s journey will be connected to the story of Eric (Barrett Foa) from the time he was missing on the show. The producer teased that “anything is possible” when it comes to the character leaving.

After Hunt had to skip out of some of the episodes in the previous season, the fans will get to see a lot more of her going forward. Military called her the “heart and soul” of the show.

What will Hetty do in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 12? Military pointed out that she is a “mysterious character” who does “ lots of interesting and complex stuff all over the world.” He added that the fans have gotten used to the idea that they will not see her all the time and they may not find out everything that she does when she isn’t around, which is something that may continue on the show.

The main villain in the next season will continue to be Argento (Juan Riedinger). Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told TV Line that the heroes will be in a race against time in the next season to stop Argento and those who are working with him to get away with murder. The villain will attempt to derail the case against him and endanger innocent lives in the process.

The fans may also get to see more of the new character Devin Roundtree (Caleb Castille). In an interview with TV Guide, Military said that they are excited about the new character and added that he is hoping the character agrees to join the heroes.
