Interestingly, the image comes with some scribbles like "Omega Portal Chamber." Underneath it is another annotation, which reads, "This is where the portal is maintained to the Dark Aether." As per Gamerant, the M written on the photo could be referring to the former antagonist Samantha Maxis. This seems to be a letter sent to her from her Russian contact, which details the new Omega base, the site adds. As for the text that reads, "the portal is maintained to the Dark Aether," it reportedly indicates that "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" Zombies players will travel to the portal, the report notes.

Another writing in the photo says, "More soon." It is seemingly suggesting that Treyarch will share more details about this new map. As to when can players expect this teased map in the game is still unknown. However, rumors have it that Treyarch might announce the map along with a full trailer on Jan. 15, since it has been teasing about 115 Day.

According to rumors, the said map is based in a Vietnam firebase and would share some pieces of the classic Shi no Numa map. Others claim the rumored map might be called Firebase Z. It is worth noting that these are all speculations and until Treyarch announced the map and released its details, fans should take these rumors with a pinch of salt.
