  • A new map may soon arrive in "Call of Duty: Warzone"
  • The map is likely a remastered version of the classic DLC map form "Black Ops 1"
  • "Call of Duty: Warzone" is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

"Call of Duty: Warzone" is reportedly getting a new map, which most likely would a reworked version of one of the series' classic maps.

Insider Modern Warzone tweeted that the Zoo map could be a remastered version of the DLC map from "Black Ops 1." The rumored new location measures 8x8, which is a little bit smaller compared to the current Verdansk map in the game. But it is not known how much of the area is playable.

The insider also revealed that the remastered Zoo map would also feature a "Weather Station," which could be the fan-favorite Summit on "Call of Duty: Black Ops." Summit is a decimated military base situated on top of a snow-capped mountain.

The closest point of interest on the remastered Zoo map could be the Sky Slopes location, GamesRadar reported. These details suggest the game developers may be rolling out a lot of changes to "Call of Duty: Warzone."

The changes and new content would certainly refresh the players of the battle royale title from Activision. Following its launch in March 2020, "Call of Duty: Warzone" has been a massive hit among fans. It has more than 85 million players, with some preferring the battle royale game over the recently launched "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War."

But its developer, Raven Software, has not revealed anything in this regard. Hence, fans should temper their expectations and not take the information at face value.

Meanwhile, several "Warzone" players are reportedly facing the Infinite Stim glitch and Invisibility glitch. Raven Software is yet to comment on the issue.

"Call of Duty: Warzone" is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
