A new tell-all book has been released detailing the relationship between Bill Cosby and a woman who claims to be a former girlfriend. Dona Speir, a former Playboy Playmate, wrote the book “NAKED TRUTH, The Fall and Rise of Dona Speir,” where she reveals her alleged underage relationship with the imprisoned comedian.

In the book, Speir discusses the relationship she had with Cosby, who at the time was 26 years older than her. Speir, then 16, claims that Cosby seduced her and began grooming her at the time of their relationship.

“Bill Cosby was smart, he knew that the best way to protect his time with me was to ingratiate himself with my family,” reads an excerpt from Speir's book, as provided to International Business Times in a press release.

According to Speir, Cosby gave her parents lavish gifts and vacations and allowed them to travel with them. Their relationship was kept private and her parents thought he was just a mentor to her.

Speir also claims she was coerced into intimacy with Cosby as he showered her with gifts and attention. She said that Cosby rules included being quiet about their relationship and being there when he wanted her.

Speir met Cosby through a neighbor that played tennis with the comedian and passed her headshot along to him. Days later, she claims she boarded a plane to Pittsburgh to appear in a children’s TV series that Cosby then hosted. Speir says she later flew with Cosby to Texas, where they spent the night together in his hotel suite, starting the beginning of their three-year relationship.

Speir, who has been clean and sober for more than 30 years, decided to share her life story after being told she should write a book. The Cosby verdict seemed like the right time, Speir said. Cosby is currently serving a three to 10-year sentence for the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand.

“I want my story to remind people that you can still survive the ravages of abuse and addiction,” Speir said in a press release. “All kinds of abuse from drugs and alcohol to predators. I want women to know that it’s OK to speak out and stand up without guilt and shame. I didn’t know how to say ‘no’ back then because at 16 years old, I wanted to feel loved, accepted and feel worthy. Times are different today and empowerment matters. But more importantly, truth matters.”

Speri will be promoting "Naked Truth" in New York June 6-7.
