Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is, once again, addressing rumors she's been cast in Season 7 of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Stories first began circulating in February after the mother-of-two was spotted spending time with Melissa Gorga, who has been a fixture on the show for several seasons. Snooki, 27, shut down those rumors almost as quickly as they began and, months later, she's standing by those statements.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Snooki said she's definitely not going to be on the hit Bravo show. She speculated that the rumors likely spawned from her friendship with Melissa, 36, saying that people often assume celebrities are joining "Real Housewives" when they're spotted spending time with the show's cast members. The MTV "Jersey Shore" alumnae added that she was a bit too young to be on the show. Snooki told the publication she would consider being on "RHONJ" later in life, but right now she said she is simply too busy with "other things."

"I'm only 27," she said. "I have other things going on. I feel like, if I'm a little bit older, I would consider it. But I'm still young."

One of those projects includes a new television show alongside best friend and former "Snooki and JWoww" star Jenni "JWoww" Farley. Snooki declined to share too many details about the upcoming project, but said that viewers should expect "something very different." She revealed to ET that the new project is not solidified, so both she and Jenni, 29, have been sworn to secrecy.

Snooki may not be joining the "RHONJ" cast, but there are certainly going to be some casting shake-ups on the upcoming season. As we previously reported, the show's controversial star Teresa Giudice has officially signed on to appear in Season 7 following her release from prison. Melissa, her sister-in-law, is also on board. In September ET reported that Dina Manzo, who returned to the show in Season 6 after a lengthy hiatus, would not be returning for another season. Season 6 troublemakers Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano had not yet been extended an invitation to return to the series. Sources told the publication it was highly likely that Jacqueline Laurita, who left the show seasons prior, would be back on the show full time. The site also stated that there was a possibility that rumors Traci Johnson, Tiki Barber's wife, is joining the Season 7 cast may be true. Bravo has not given "RHONJ" an official premiere date.

Although her return to television remains uncertain, fans can get their fill of Snooki by purchasing her new book, "Strong Is the New Sexy." The book, which she is currently on the road promoting, is full of the busy mom's secrets on sneaking workouts and healthy lifestyle choices into her daily routine. The book will be available for purchase Oct. 13.
