O.J. Simpson has finally broken his silence regarding his “relationship” with Khloe Kardashian.

The former athlete told TMZ that he is not the father of the 33-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star. Simpson’s clarification came after he was asked to comment on Kardashian’s first pregnancy. He said that his late friend, Robert Kardashian, is the one who would’ve been excited about the news.

“Well, for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah. I don’t know for me. I don’t think for me. I have nothing to do with it. I would be proud… but trust me, I had nothing to do with it,” he said.

According to US Weekly, Kris Jenner’s late husband worked as Simpson’s defense attorney during his 1995 murder trial. Kris Jenner was a friend of Simpson’s late wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.

Tensions between Kris and Robert escalated after the “momager” spoke publicly about the case and in favor of her friend.

Meanwhile, rumors surrounding Kardashian’s biological father have existed for the past couple of years. In 2013, Robert’s wife, Ellen Pierson, claimed that Robert told her he wasn’t Kardashian’s real father.

Years later, Kardashian slammed Pierson on her “Kocktails With Khloe” show and said, “She wanted to come out, like 10 years later after my dad passed away and said that I’m not his daughter and he confided in her. I was like, ‘Listen, you can talk about me and my sisters all you [expletive] want. Do not talk about my dad… He’s not here!’” she said.

Months later, Tristan Thompsons girlfriend joked about being Simpson’s daughter after she posted a selfie on Instagram. One fan commented that Kardashian looked “white” in the photo. She replied, “I don’t know… Some days I’m OJs daughter. Others I’m Robert’s daughter.”

Last year, Kris’ fiancé, Cesar Sanudo, claimed that the mom of six slept with Robert and Simpson at the same time. Pastor Ken Gulliksen also previously said that Robert and Kris had four kids – three of them were their biological children and one was someone else’s kid, according to the Daily Mail.
