Kim Kardashian, who is known for living her life like an open book, chose to avoid sharing her opinion when it came to discussing the topics of Blac Chyna and O.J. Simpson in a recent interview.

During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was interviewed by guest host Jennifer Lawrence, E! News reported. While there, Kardashian opted to remain mum on some of the drama surrounding her family.

Lawrence asked Kardashian about Blac Chyna. who dated her brother, Rob Kardashian, and had a child, Dream, with him before several dramatic break ups. In October, Chyna filed a lawsuit against the famous family, accusing them of canceling her E! Reality series, “Rob & Chyna,” causing her to lose out on money.

Despite the ongoing drama, Kardashian refused to make a statement about Chyna out of respect for her niece. “You know, I was—I always said when someone was going to ask me—you know, Dream is going to see this one day,” she told Lawrence.

“And so I think it’s just super respectful to just not say anything about my niece’s mom,” she added.

Chyna wasn’t the only topic Kardashian stayed away from that night. Lawrence brought up Kardashian’s connection to O.J. Simpson, who was accused of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. The football star’s ex-wife was friends with Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner.

Although Simpson was not charged with her murder, he was later arrested in 2007, after he, along with several other men, entered a hotel-casino and used firearms to steal sports memorabilia. The former football star served nine years and was released this past October.

During the interview, the “Mother!” star jokingly asked if Kardashian has spoken to Simpson since his release. “I have like so much respect for his children. I feel like my mom and Caitlyn [Jenner] both say a lot about it and they’re really vocal,” she said.

“And I just feel like, you know, his kids. It must be like really hard. I just try to stay away from it,” the star added.

While she wasn’t too keen on commenting on Chyna and Simpson, Kardashian didn’t mind discussing her husband Kanye West’s annoying ability to fall asleep anywhere. She also revealed that she is rooting for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s reconciliation.

Despite the brief moments of seriousness, it seemed like Kardashian and Lawrence had a blast during their interview.
