"One Piece" Chapter 1001 reveals Kaido making a bold pronouncement, thereby unveiling his plans after the war in Onigashima ends.

A detailed summary of the incoming chapter is now available online, thanks to Redon and other insiders in the "One Piece" community. "One Piece" Chapter 1001 reportedly continues the fight between the Emperors of the Sea Big Mom and Kaido and the Supernovas Luffy, Law, Kid, Zoro and Killer. The last few panels of the manga installment reveal Kaido making a bold declaration.

"It would be such a waste to kill all of you. But that can't be helped. After your death, I will take all your crew, your treasures and all the Poneglyphs that you have! Whoever wins this battle, will only be a few steps away from becoming the Pirate King," The Beasts Pirates' captain tells the Supernovas.

It appears that Luffy's fight with Kaido, which started in the previous chapter of the manga, pushes through with Kid and Law now joining in the fray. Prepared to finally eliminate the strongest creature in the world, the three captains allegedly use powerful attacks. Law uses Takt, which allows him to drop a massive amount of rocks on the Beasts Pirates' captain.

Kid flaunts a new attack called Punk Rotten: Punk Vise, which showcases a robot with a skull face that utilizes its hands to crush Kaido. Luffy, on the other hand, uses his signature attack Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun. Based on the spoilers, this is what Kaido is hoping to happen. Prior to the trio's united onslaught, Kaido tells Big Mom to wait because he wants to see the full power of the Supernovas.

The spoilers also reveal that while all of these are happening, Big Mom laughs and turns Napoleon into a flaming sword. Kaido then emerges from the crumbles in his dragon form. The chapter ends with both Yonkos facing the five Supernova.

"One Piece" Chapter 1001 is scheduled to arrive on Jan. 17. Unfortunately, the manga will have a weeklong hiatus after that, which means the release of "One Piece" Chapter 1002 will be delayed.
