A new set of early scans of “One Piece” Chapter 979 surfaced online earlier today. The scans reveal the entire upcoming chapter and all its intricate details. If the new set of spoilers is to go by it looks like fans will see Momonosuke’s escape plan and Kaido’s surprise announcement related to his son.

In the latest scans of “One Piece” Chapter 979, it shows that Kanjuro does not know how to get to Orochi. It also tells that it was his first time to go to Onigashima, so he was sort of lost on his way to Kaido’s mansion. The scans also show a scene where Kanjuro was lost in his thoughts about how to reach Orochi with Momonosuke held captive and following his lead.

At one point, Momonosuke heard a sound and saw a knife on the floor. The panel shows him intently looking at the weapon. The only possible explanation for this scene is that the heir of the Kozuki clan might use this weapon to escape. It is a crucial factor that Kanjuro is not familiar with the place, and Momo could easily run away from him should he manage to cut the ‘leash’ that connects him with Orochi’s mole.

“One Piece” Chapter 979 Kaido’s Surprise Announcement

In one of the panels of the early scans of “One Piece” Chapter 979, it reveals that it was King, one of the All-Stars, who summoned the Flying Six and not Kaido. His purpose, as revealed in the spoilers, is to ask for the team’s help in bringing Yamato, Kaido’s son to him. The new set of early scans also teases that Kaido is going to make an announcement, and he needs his son to be there when it happens.

Initially, many assumed that the announcement would be about the alliance of the Big Mom and Beast Pirates. However, it appears that Kaido has a special announcement that has something to do with his son.
