‘The Originals’ Season 5 Spoilers: Episode 11 Synopsis, Video And Photos Revealed

A familiar face returns to New Orleans in “The Originals” Season 5, episode 11. Davina will come home with Kol for Freya and Keelin’s wedding, but the big day doesn’t sound like the happiest occasion.

“Klaus (Joseph Morgan) turns to Davina (Danielle Campbell) for help to learn more about a mysterious affliction affecting Hope (Danielle Rose Russell),” the synopsis for the CW drama teases.

Hope managed to quell some of the symptoms of The Hollow by killing the vampire supremacists, but that didn’t get rid of the powerful magic. It’s still in her system, and it’s becoming more dangerous. Plus, Hope triggered even more magic. When she killed the Nazi-like vamps, she accidentally killed a priest, activating her werewolf curse.

While Klaus searches for answers, he’ll also be helping with some wedding planning. Freya (Riley Voelkel) and Keelin (Christina Moses) have decided to get married in “The Originals” Season 5, but a big — and surprisingly normal — conversation might threaten their happily ever after.

“On their wedding day, Freya and Keelin make a tough decision about their future together,” the logline hints.

Elsewhere, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will be brooding. He is still tormented by Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) death, and he’ll have some flashbacks to his love in episode 11. “Elijah is forced to confront a past memory of Hayley,” the synopsis says.

The promo video for the episode, titled “Til The Day I Die,” shows Elijah packing up his car as he thinks about Hayley. “Do you ever have an ex you just can’t seem to get out of your system?” she asks.

Meanwhile, after surviving Hope’s attack on the puritanical group, Declan (Torrance Coombs) continues to his search for answers, and he’s getting way too close to the truth. “Finally, Declan’s growing curiosity in the city’s supernatural secrets forces Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) to step in,” the synopsis says.

“The Originals” Season 5, episode 11 airs Wednesday, July 18 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW. Kyle Arrington and Marguerite MacIntyre wrote the episode while Geoff Shotz directed.
