Amy Schumer, who hosted Oscars 2022 alongside Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes Sunday night, took a dig at actor Leonardo DiCaprio for dating younger women. Now she's being accused of stealing a joke from a Twitter user.

"Leonardo Dicaprio, what can I even say about him? He's done so much to fight climate change and leave behind a cleaner, greener planet for his girlfriends," Schumer said during the event, which was held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old comedian then explained the joke, saying, "Because he's older, and they're younger. You get it."

Clips of Schumer's hilarious moment quickly made rounds online.

When Schumer dragged DiCaprio, who didn't attend the event, the camera zoomed in on Jessica Chastain's face, highlighting her reaction. Netizens quickly took to Twitter to discuss how the actress reacted to the joke, with many of them pointing out how perfect it was.

"Okay Jessica Chastain's reaction to the joke about how young Leo DiCaprio's girlfriends are was perfect," a netizen wrote as they posted a screenshot showing Chastain laughing at the joke.

But though a lot of Twitter users found the joke funny, there were some who thought it had been stolen from an old post on the platform. To back up their allegation, some of them even reposted a tweet from December 2021, in which a user, who has the handle @NicoleConlan, wrote, "Leonardo DiCaprio is so passionate about climate change because he wants to leave a better word for his girlfriends."

The said tweet has so far amassed more than 250,000 likes and close to 17,000 retweets.

A netizen retweeted the said post, noting, "Babe wake up Amy Schumer stole your joke." Meanwhile, another user tweeted, "Wait, Amy Schumer stole jokes from twitter no wonder they were funny."

Another user also shared a story in which a comedian had allegedly been blacklisted because of Schumer. "There was a lady on tiktok who said she got black listed in comedy because Ms. Ma'am stole her jokes and everyone thought she was copying Amy Schumer," the user wrote.

DiCaprio is dating 24-year-old model Camila Morrone. The 47-year-old actor was spotted with Morrone for the first time in January 2018 after they were rumored to be dating in December 2017.

On the work front, DiCaprio will be next seen in the movies "Killers of the Flower Moon," "Jim Jones" and "Roosevelt."

Schumer, on the other hand, was recently seen in the TV series "Life & Beth," which was released on March 18.
