  • Executive Producer Chris Mundy teased details about "Ozark" Season 4
  • The plot will focus on Ruth
  • Ruth will have to decide what she wants

The main plot of “Ozark” Season 4 will be about Ruth’s (Julia Garner) journey. The show hasn’t been renewed yet, but in a recent interview, executive producer Chris Mundy teased some details about what the story will be going forward if the show gets picked up for another season.

After the shocking events in Season 3 finale, Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) have one less thing to worry about as they make their new plans to deal with their situation. Mundy explained the death in an interview with Entertainment Weekly as something that the season was building up towards.

Mundy and his team planed the season with a plot that started with the fight between Wendy and Marty. Wendy won that fight and the plot shifted towards her alliance with Helen (Janet McTeer), which turned into Wendy and Marty as a team against Helen.

Towards the end of the season, Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) had to decide between the two sides because, according to Mundy, the villain wouldn’t want the unstable relationships to continue. Helen is a good lawyer, but there are many other good lawyers out there. Marty and Wendy have proved their worth by getting the casino operational and their claim of having the FBI on their side also works in their favour.

Wendy is deep inside the criminal enterprise, and this will affect her story in “Ozark” Season 4. She will have to come up with a new plan to keep things going. However, the main plot on the show going forward will be about Ruth.

Mundy explained that the story going forward will be about whether or not Ruth will be able to “create something of her own.” She will have to decide what she really wants. Meanwhile, Marty and Wendy will have see if they can turn the “biggest mistake of their life into this huge advantage.” The story will also be about how much of the family’s karma will catch-up with them.

While the show is a big hit among the fans, there are some concerns that the critics have pointed out. According to Vanity Fair, one of the challenges for the show will be to introduce new twists in “more organic ways.”

It remains to be seen when the “Ozark” Season 4 announcement will be made. Meanwhile, Bateman announced on Twitter that he is donating money to help fight the coronavirus.
