A teaser trailer of Disney's live-action movie "Pinocchio" has surfaced online, featuring Blue Fairy and Jiminy Cricket. Fans can also get a glimpse of the title character, Pinocchio.

In the 30 seconds video, shared Monday by the Twitter handle On The Red Carpet, an old man can be seen looking at the stars out of his window before the Blue Fairy (played by Cynthia Erivo) walks in and touches Pinocchio's head with her magical wand.

Jiminy Cricket (animated character voiced by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt) removes his hat and shows his face, which appears as if he is afraid of the Blue Fairy.

"'When you wish upon a Star...' Tune in tomorrow to @GMA to see the Teaser Trailer for @Disney's #Pinocchio coming soon to @DisneyPlus," On The Red Carpet wrote.

Fans were excited after watching the teaser trailer.

"I can't believe Robert Zemeckis stays true to the feel of the original Disney classic, especially with it's design from it," one user wrote. "Kind of look of it, this is gonna be so cool!!!!" Another fan commented, "Tomorrow first trailer for Disney's Pinocchio I'm so excited!"

"Pinocchio" is a live-action adaptation of the 1940 musical animated movie of the same name.

The upcoming movie is helmed by director Robert Zemeckis and it is expected to release in September this year. The flick will also star Tom Hanks, Luke Evans, Sheila Atim, Hannah Flynn, Aidan Towers and LaToya Harding.

The story revolves around the woodworker Geppetto, who wishes that a puppet he made, named Pinocchio, could become a real boy. Geppetto's wish comes true as a Blue Fairy comes down to turn Pinocchio into a boy. Pinocchio's life takes an unexpected turn when he trusts a wicked man.

The 1940 movie was an adaptation of Carlo Collodi's novel of the same name, which was published in 1883.
