  • "Call of Duty: WWII" is PlayStation Plus Free Game for June
  • "Marvel's Spider-Man" speculated as another PS Plus free game
  • Sony may be making up for poor May PS Plus Free Games

The month of May is coming to a close and gamers are eager to see the free games offered by gaming sites. For those subscribed to PlayStation Plus Games, one of the free titles coming has been revealed. One of the free game titles will be "Call of Duty: WWII," a game that should appease members who were not too happy with the May offering.

"Call of Duty: WWII" is a big relief for most, a game that brings players back to the 40s setting. Gamers will get a feel of the conditions during the second global war. The game was originally released in 2017 and drew mixed reviews. Overall, most found the campaigns great although there were minor flaws singled out by IGN that prevented it from becoming a landmark in the series. Regardless, it should be a game worth playing, especially now with most folks stuck at home.

"Call of Duty: WWII" will go live on PS Plus starting May 26. However, there are more free titles that have yet to be revealed. Sony announced that the other free titles for June will be announced this week. Looking at the PS Plus site now, the free game titles are "Farming Simulator" and "Cities: Skyline."

As mentioned in a previous post, these were game titles that members were not too happy with. A petition was made to change them. Sony stood by the games it offered and did not budge. But now, it appears they are trying to make up by offering a popular title like "Call of Duty: WWII." The current free games are expected to exit by June 1.

There is no telling what other game/s for PlayStation Plus subscribers will get for June. There have been suggestions of possibly seeing "Marvel's Spider-Man" as one of the other free titles. Some users alleged that they got a PS Store listing showing the game title with the PS Plus logo next to it. It is a PS Store glitch that has happened before and now expectant gamers are hoping it materializes. Many people were disappointed with the May offers, so it could make sense to offer "Marvel's Spider-Man" to make up for it. All that should be known in the coming week.
