Adult film star Ron Jeremy was indicted on several charges of rape and sexual assault on Wednesday, according to an announcement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Jeremy has been indicted on 12 counts of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person, and one count each of assault with intent to commit rape, lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15, and sodomy by use of force. Jeremy has pleaded not guilty to all counts.

“His position is the same (as) when the criminal complaint was filed,” Stuart Goldfarb, Jeremy’s lawyer, said in a statement. “He is innocent of all charges.”

Jeremey faces more than 30 sexual assault charges, which took place over the course of a 23-year period, with the first assault occurring in 1996. Jeremy’s victims range in age from 15 to 51.

Some of the allegations against Jeremy include sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in June 2004 and raping a 17-year-old girl in 2008 at a home in Woodland Hills.

Jeremy’s case was presented before a grand jury in which victims didn’t have to testify in open court.

“Far too often, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation,” George Gascón, the Los Angeles County district attorney, said in a statement.

“We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes.”

Jeremy is being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles under a bond of $6.6 million. He is expected to return to court on Oct. 12 for a pretrial conference.
