WWE legend Scott Hall was hospitalized this week after he had a scary fall, his friend announced on his Facebook page Wednesday.

“Just got off the phone with my friend Scott Hall. He fell and broke his hip and he’s in the hospital. Prayers will help him recover,” wrestling promoter Jerry Jarrett wrote on his private social media account.

After the fall, Hall was rushed to a hospital and was currently recovering, TMZ reported, citing the Facebook post.

Hall, who wrestled both under his own name and as Razor Ramon, has been in the game since the early 1980s. He was responsible for the formation of the New World Order alongside Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan.

The 63-year-old first entered the world of professional wrestling in 1984. He became a part of WWE in 1992, wherein he established the character of Razor Ramon.

Hall underwent hip replacement surgery in 2013 after fellow WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page helped him raise $80,000 for the procedure and other medical expenses.

Hall has been inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame twice. He is currently advertised for appearances at WrestleCon in Dallas during WrestleMania week next month. However, it remains unclear if he will be able to attend it after the current situation.

Local media and his friend Jarrett did not reveal how Hall ended up being involved in the scary fall. It is also not known where the accident took place.

Several of Hall's fans took to Twitter to pray for his speedy recovery.

After defeating the legendary Roddy Piper at Superbrawl IX, Hall had to relinquish his first singles gold in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) due to a problematic foot injury, spending most of 1999 on the sidelines.

According to the Richest, Hall has an estimated net worth of $3 million, with a $95 thousand annual salary.

Hall was born in St. Mary’s County, Maryland on Oct. 20, 1958. He spent his high school years in Munich, Germany, at the All American High school. He attended St. Mary’s College, where he earned his pre-Med degree, after his family returned to the U.S.
