  • Prince George and Princess Charlotte are not allowed to have a best friend in school
  • Prince George and Princess Charlotte are taught the importance of kindness in school
  • Prince William and Kate Middleton are giving their children normal childhoods

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been having a blast at Thomas’s Battersea. But even though the royal siblings have made a handful of friends while studying there, they have been warned against having a best friend in school.

During her interview on “Loose Women,” journalist Jane Moore explained why Prince George and Princess Charlotte cannot pick a favorite friend while studying at the prestigious school.

“It's a really great little school actually for the reasons I think that it really focuses on kindness, it's a really big thing in that school and the pastoral care is amazing. There's a policy that if your child is having a party unless every child in the class is invited you don’t give out the invites in class, which I think is quite a good thing as you don’t feel excluded,” she said.

Moore went on to say that there are signs everywhere inside Thomas’s Battersea encouraging students to be kind since this is the ethos of the school. As such, having best friends is discouraged.

Meanwhile, Prince George and Princess Charlotte also made headlines this week after their dad Prince William’s parenting skill was analyzed. On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard said that Princess Diana’s relationship with her sons is influencing Prince William’s parenting style.

“From William, I think we get the Princess Diana influence. Princess Diana was the first real royal mum to submerge her children in ordinary life. They went to theme parks, they went to McDonald's, they went and visited the homeless, they went and visited AIDS patients. She made them aware of their privilege in a way that previous generations hadn’t,” she said.

Mollard went on to say that Queen Elizabeth was educated by the governess and brought up in the palace by her nannies instead of her parents. But with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children, they are being raised in a normal household and they also have very normal childhoods just like what Princess Diana tried to do with her sons.
